The Simple Brilliance of Dirt

We’ve had a compost bin forever. In fact, some of the richest bits of gold earth tossed on our garden have come from the bottom of that bin. Immediately eye-spied the simple compost design on A Lazy Man’s Guide to Compost and ta-da our rather rickety, hokie compost bin was ohh so beautiful too. Who knows why I’d always thought that it had to be perfectly pretty AND functional. Sheesh! is me.

As we begin the fall and not so simple task of keeping the yard clean of piles of leaves, this is a perfect subject for highlighting. Thanks for the info!
