Great Tips for the Photo Gallery Module

Hopping Bunny
Have you noticed lens hopping around like the Energizer Bunny lately? Getting frustrated while reading a lens because it moves up and down unexpectedly? Well thanks to a Squidoo friend giving me some advice the other day he helped me find the fix for my lenses.

If you use the Photo Gallery Module on your lens make sure to size your pictures all the same, that cures the hopping around in a heartbeat! Also a good idea, in our ;) opinion, is to set the module to 5 seconds, otherwise you miss out on grabbing your reader’s interest.

The other solution is to turn off the Automatically Rotate Photos Frequency; set it to Do Not Rotate. Especially beneficial for those photos that just are not the same if they are re-sized.

Here are a couple of examples from two lenses that I am using the Photo Gallery Module on:

Resized: Herb Garden in a Basket or Cup
Set To Do Not Rotate: In Love With My Guy

Did you find this information useful? How about giving us an example of a lens that you use the Photo Gallery on? Leave your love notes in the comments ;)

Squidoo is honoring lenses with heart a purple star! Have you been starred?

Even before Squidoo added this powerful punch, I knew this was a great place to hang out online. How else would I have ‘met’ so many great people online?

I’ve been honored with a couple stars…WOot!, so I would love for you to give your curtsy or bow by adding your purpleness here! Giants to newbies are itchin’ to take a peek at the best of the best.

Visit my purple star lenses, I am mighty proud ;)
