My Shout For a PG Rating on Squidoo!

Kudos to Andrew for writing this post on his blog Squidoography…R and X Rated Lenses on Squidoo, it opened my eyes to a policy on Squidoo that I was not aware of. Truth be told, I personally changed one of lenses from ‘R’ to ‘G’ that sat in limbo, yet since the change it’s been well received as a tastefully done subject about couple’s games in the ‘G’ rating. (Opened myself up for a review didn’t I? Ut oh!)

Seriously though and most importantly my hope is to get across that there really is a call…shout out…a definite need for a ‘PG’ rating on Squidoo. Most of the public, at large, understands what a ‘PG’ rating means, so it makes sense to me that it would fit nicely into what Squidoo offers. Don’t you think that authors, entrepreneur’s, and folks writing their thoughts could really benefit from this ‘in-betweener’ rating?

Please read this lens What I Learned While Being Homeless that was recently and randomly given a ‘R’ rating by Squidoo. And then join in on the discussion about PG rating lenses, on the Squidu forum

So what is your vote, thought, idea? Let us all know in the comments section…each of you will be heard.

A Recipe Series is Born!

This gal loves cooking and finding unique recipes! Well guess what folks? Squidoo happens to have more then a handful of excellent Chefmasters sharing their ideas and recipes for all of us to enjoy.

Inspired by this I started a lens to highlight some awesome recipes. One thing led to another and that one little lens has now sprung into a series of lenses that highlight Squidoo Chefmasters: Their Yummiest Recipes Ever (main page for the series). Take a look around, I am convinced you will find something to add to your recipe box!

Hope this idea inspires you to start a series of your own. Think about something you are passionate about, start browsing the halls of Squidoo using keyword searches and see what you can create for all of us to enjoy!

Please make sure to contact me if you would like me to review your recipe lens…I’m looking for the cream of the crop :)
